Our free services support Los Altos students across a wide range of class subjects as well as standardized testing.

Note that we currently only have notes/guides for the subjects listed below, but tutoring is available for nearly ALL subjects. Please contact us for help with unlisted subjects!

Science

AP Physics C: Mech

More rigorous than the AP exam. Basic calculus knowledge comes in handy in this class, as problem justification can cite calculus principles with more intuitive reasoning.

AP Physics C: E&M

E&M is a conceptually hard course. It has less units than Mech but is more difficult because of new concepts in each unit. Students should focus on mathematical understanding.

AP Biology

Moves at an extremely fast pace and covers content far beyond the scope of the AP material, including an entire extra unit on neurons.

Math

AP Calculus AB/BC

Often found to be more difficult than the AP exam due to strict time restraints. The BC version adds polar & parametric equations and infinite sequences & series as additional units.

Algebra I

This course begins high school math and introduces ideas and problems that blend past concepts and techniques into new ones.

Social Studies

AP European History

Requires both content knowledge and historical writing skills which are heavily emphasized at LAHS, as preparation for the AP exam.
