Our Subjects

Our free services support Los Altos students across a wide range of class subjects as well as standardized testing. Only some subjects listed below have notes/guides available, but tutoring is available for ALL subjects listed.

Most students will take these standardized exams. Alongside LAHS courses, we offer resources that help with the strict timing and even the infamously difficult English modules.

Usually taught backwards. The first semester teaches the latter AP units and the second semester mainly covers content from Chemistry Honors.

AP Biology

Moves at an extremely fast pace and covers content far beyond the scope of the AP material, including an entire extra unit on neurons.

Math

AP Calculus AB/BC

Often found to be more difficult than the AP exam due to strict time restraints. The BC version adds polar & parametric equations and infinite sequences & series as additional units.

Trigonometry/Math Analysis

The bridge from algebra to calculus for most students. The honors version includes additional units such as polar coordinates, vectors, and rotated conics.
